3D Printer (Prusa i3 MK3)
The Prusa i3 Mk3 is a fast, high-quality 3D printer which is able to reliably produce objects down to 50 micron (0.05mm) resolution. The i3 MK3S supports a variety of filament types, including but not limited to PLA (polylactic acid), PETG (polyethylene terephthalate enhanced with glycol), ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), ASA (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate, an alternative to ABS), and Flex. Connectivity is to a computer over a USB connection. The i3 MK3S has a USB 2.0 Type-B port, the kind commonly found on ordinary printers. It also supports printing from an SD card. The Prusa i3 MK3S uses PrusaSlicer 2.2 software. It is based on Slic3r, an open-source program that takes 3D object files in STL, OBJ, AMF, or 3MF formats and converts them into G-code files, which are essentially the coded instructions for outputting the object on a 3D printer. More 3D printers are available at the UW Bothell Collaboratory and EE undergraduate/graduate students readily use the equipment needed for curricular and research projects.

PCB Prototyping (ProtoMat E44 circuit board plotter)
The PCB Prototyping system can structure single- or double-sided circuit boards, drill holes, perform contour milling, and even engrave front panels. Tool exchange is manual with precise height adjustment per micrometer screw. A camera helps the ProtoMat E44 achieve better positioning accuracy with double-sided boards. In addition, the measuring camera enables easy adjustment of the milling depth. A spindle speed of 40 000 RPM provides for a higher working speed.

Three-Channel Programmable DC Power Supply (Keithley 2230G)
The Keithley 2230G multi-channel programmable DC power supplies combine three channels of output power to test a wide range of devices, circuit boards, modules, and products that require more than one power sources. This model includes two 30V/1.5A channels and add a 6V channel with up to 5A output for powering digital circuits. All outputs feature remote sense capability which can be used to reduce the effect of lead resistance, delivering 0.03% basic voltage accuracy even when using long leads. Basic current accuracy is 0.1% for all channels and linear regulation delivers low noise – less than 3 mVp-p. Flexible display modes make it easy to use the two 30 V outputs in combination, and the USB interface makes it easy to build PC-based systems without converters or special cables.
