ASME
It is the mission of the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) club at the University of Washington Bothell to provide enriching experiences and activities to engineering students, and those interested in the STEM fields. The experiences will help grow their professional skills while developing a strong sense of social entrepreneurship. The relationships formed through experiences with: guest speakers, professional development, technical projects, community engagement, student advocacy and a focus on diversity in the ME program will help our members gain valuable insight for their future careers.

Electric Motorsport at UWB
The Electric Motorsport at UWB team enables hands-on, job-mirroring experience centered in electrification and efficiency oriented design. Student team members collaboratively engineer, construct, and code an electric drivetrain into an unmodified kart chassis, working with advanced materials and components in small groups and with industry partners to achieve the greatest efficiency. Our team’s purpose is to compete in the annual eV Grand Prix efficiency competition each April in Indiana against over two dozen other college teams for the most efficient design solution.

TrickFire Robotics
TrickFire Robotics is a team of self-motivated university students, working to apply our skills outside the classroom. As the name implies, our goal lies in the design and development of complex robots used to compete in competitions. Part of our mission is to connect with our community through STEM outreach. Members are engaged in a hands-on team setting and can apply skills in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering, along with manufacturing, business, and marketing fields.
