The Case for International Education
There is a growing body of research related to international and intercultural learning in higher education, including study abroad. Recent studies have demonstrated a positive impact of study abroad participation on student retention and success towards completion of a college degree. A recent article published in Inside Higher Ed summarizes the research.
The Center for Global Education at the UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information Studies collects, edits, and provides a searchable database of study abroad research.
