Yang Peng, Associate Professor
Dr. Peng received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Iowa State University in 2014, and his M.S. in Computer Science from Washington State University in 2008. Prior to coming to UW Bothell, he worked as a software engineer at Microsoft. His research was focused on system and protocol design for sustainable wireless sensor networks and he was engaged in multiple research projects funded by NASA, USGS and NSF.
Research
His current research interests include device, application, and network protocol designs for cyber-physical systems from the self-sustainability perspective. Dr. Peng is particularly interested in emerging networked systems such as the RF powered wireless networks, the body area networks with implantable sensors, and the Internet of Things.
