BSN Alum founds EastWest Food Rescue
George Ahearn, BSN '00, founded EastWest Food Rescue, bringing food that would have gone to waste in Eastern Washington to distribute to local food banks. In cooperation with community partners, EastWest Food Rescue has saved over 6,800,000 pounds of food and served more than 1,500,00 meals.
