Mary Howisey leads Alumni Council’s Husky 5K efforts

On Saturday, May 18, more than 1,300 walkers, strollers, joggers and runners will take to the streets of Bothell for the 14th Annual UW Bothell Husky 5k. Since the first race in 2006, proceeds from the Husky 5k have resulted in more than $160,000 for scholarships. Julie Shayne receives UW Distinguished Teaching Award

IAS faculty member and GWSS faculty coordinator Julie Shayne has received the Distinguished Teaching Award for 2019.
