Brittaney Bunjong to Appear in November Issue of Allrecipes.com Magazine
Media & Communication Studies (MCS) major Brittaney Bunjong is a foodie. Inspired by her mother she has been interested in food all her life. Her blog, “Plenty of Pineapples,” was started as a hobby in which she shared recipes from her Thai and Hispanic background.

Four Policy Studies alumni recently met with current Policy Studies students to share their career trajectories and lessons learned along the way. Collectively, they highlighted the value and relevance of their education, which built skills in research and analysis, program administration, critical thinking, advocacy, and collaboration. Andy Rheaume elected Mayor of Bothell by City Council
Environmental Science alumnus and Bothell native Andy Rheaume (’04) has been elected Mayor of Bothell by fellow City Councilmembers. Andy has served on the City Council since 2012 and was reelected for a second four-year term last November. Andy writes, “I’m honored to serve our city as the Mayor. The City of Bothell is moving in the right direction. My goal as Mayor is to make sure our quality of life is central to everything the city does, and to make sure decisions of the City Council are balanced and well informed.”

Ray Corona appointed to Seattle LGBT Commission
IAS congratulates alum Ray Corona (’13, Society, Ethics and Human Behavior) on his recent appointment to the City of Seattle LGBT Commission. The Commission advises city staff and elected officials on issues concerning the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community.
