About
Codrin Nedita is an Associate Teaching Professor in economics at the UW Bothell School of Business. He graduated with a Ph.D. in Economics from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010.
His primary research fields are international economics, economic development, innovation and technological change. He also has interest and experience in health economics, in particular the pharmaceutical industry. His research focuses on the impact of stronger intellectual property rights (IPRs) on the productivity of Indian pharmaceutical firms.
Dr. Nedita has taught a diverse selection of introductory, intermediate and advanced undergraduate econ classes at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Eureka College. He was hired by Eureka College in August 2010 to build an economics program and he has successfully developed a minor and an individualized major in economics at Eureka College.
In Romania, Codrin Nedita graduated with a B.S. degree in Economics and Business Law and worked in the private sector for a few years before deciding to pursue a doctoral degree in economics.
