Scholarships and Funding
The School of Nursing and Health Studies offers scholarships that reflect its mission and vision and emergency funding as available. These scholarships and emergency funds are funded by donations, endowments and institutional resources.
The availability of funding is limited and varies annually. The awards given to selected recipients may differ based on the strength of the application. Scholarship recipients may be asked to compose a brief letter of how the funds aided in their success. Funds are deposited directly into the student’s account by the Office of Financial Aid. All scholarships are open to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in one of the School’s programs. Awards typically range from $500-$1,500 for undergraduate student and up to $2,000 for graduate students.

Emergency funding
This funding is designated for students who demonstrate immediate financial need. Students may request funding no more than once per quarter and awards range from $100 – $500. Funds are limited. Review details and submit request for emergency funds here.

Loan repayment
The Health Professional Loan Repayment Program was created to attract and retain licensed health professionals to serve in critical shortage areas in Washington state. The program provides educational loan repayment assistance to licensed primary care health professionals.
