Assistant Professor Nora Kenworthy Makes Headlines in The Herald
Assistant Professors Nora Kenworthy and Lauren Berliner's research findings were featured in an article in The Herald on Thursday, March 16. Their study, published last month in Social Science & Medicine, looked at the success of crowdfunding for medical bills and revealed surprising results.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration Creates Results: Sara Cole Receives Founders Fellow Research Scholarship
Collaboration across disciplines brings out the best in our students and faculty! In February, Sara Cole (senior, School of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences) was awarded a Founders Fellows Research Scholarship. While Sara is an IAS student, her mentor is our School's Assistant Professor Jody Early. Sara's project is titled "Sex Education 2.0: A Content Analysis of Online Teen Sexual Health Forums."

SNHS Students and Students from Al Quds University Discuss Women’s Global Health & Human Rights
Students from the University of Washington Bothell collaborated with health professions students from Al Quds University in Hebron (West Bank) to dialogue about concepts and issues shaping women's (trans and cis) global health and human rights. Students exchanged "photo stories" to share results of their Photovoice findings.

Assistant Professor Kenworthy and Team Receive Grant
Congratulations to researchers, Drs. Nora Kenworthy, Johanna Crane, and Lynn Thomas! Their project, "The Past, Present, and Future of U.S. Global Health Partnerships in Africa" has been awarded a Collaboration Studio Grant which provide UW faculty groups with leave to catalyze, deepen, or reconfigure cross-disciplinary research and to work toward publication.
