Resilience Through Mindfulness Study

Participate in a research study using remote mindfulness and earn a $25 Amazon gift card. BSN Alum Faces Outbreaks in 2 Cities

While still a student, BSN alum Avery Montes De Oca worked as an emergency room nurse at EvergreenHealth and as a travel nurse in Elmhurst. EvergreenHealth, in Kirkland, WA, is the hospital where many nursing home patients were treated in March for COVID-19. When Elmhurst, in Queens, NY, sent out a call for nurses as the coronavirus began to spike, Montes De Oca answered.
