Fieldwork During the Pandemic
Associate Professor Mabel Ezeonwu was teaching two courses in spring of 2020 that were focused on fieldwork. Ezeonwu had to quickly adapt those courses to remote instruction when faced with the pandemic. Winner of the 2020 Distinguished Teaching award, Ezeonwu said, “focusing on my students has also helped me and, I would venture to guess, has helped other faculty. I believe the difficult transition to remote instruction brought out the best in all of us.” Read Ezeonwu’s story in the UW Bothell Magazine.
