Global Health Promotion in Guatemala
Join teams with one of SNHS' Global Community Health Partners, Guatemala Village Health, on a two week service experience. This service-learning course is designed to provide students with hands-on primary care/public health experience in low-resource areas of Guatemala.

SNHS embraces mentoring intensively as both an art and a science. Our faculty and staff also deeply engage the mentorship of students and have experienced numerous successes in this arena.

UWB BSN alumna working towards her MN!
A BSN'14 graduate, Miriam Witt, is now working towards her Master of Nursing at UWB! Witt's goals and passions were heavily influenced by her volunteer trip to Kenya and experiences teaching clinical nursing as an adjunct instructor at Skagit Valley College.

Global Collaboration: SNHS and TMDU
Students and faculty benefit from partnerships in teaching and research. The partnership between Drs. Ezeonwu and Kondo, gives students the opportunity to experience global immersion programs and compare healthcare education and systems in Japan and the United States. Faculty are able to work on international comparative research and engage students on campuses worldwide.

PayScale released its rankings of best schools for Nursing and Health Science Majors by Salary Potential in 2019. The University of Washington Bothell recieves top ranking in public 4-year universities, at #22, in health science and nursing programs.

BSN Alumna on Tribal Canoe Journey
Samantha Capoeman, UW Bothell School of Nursing & Health Studies alumna, is a member of the Quinault Indian Nation and a nurse who is working in tribal clinics.
