Students eligible for Nursing Honors through STTI were inducted on 5/29/19. With our students, family and friends, Nursing & Health Studies faculty and staff, approximately 120 people attended the Induction Ceremony.

Partnerships, Promotores, and Public Health (Oh My!)
Associate Professor, Jody Early, and Sandra Solano-Huber, Community Outreach Manager at Verdant Health, presented their research findings at the Women's Caucus at APHA. The presentation was “Lay health promotion as transnational feminist health activism: Critical consciousness and collective efficacy among Promotoras de Salud.”

Health Studies Alum Receives Award
Aimee Desrochers, Health Studies 2014, received the School of Nursing & Health Studies Outstanding Alumni award. Aimee has volunteered with the Peace Corps, earned an MS in Global Health, and now works at the US Agency for International Development.
