Matt Libby shares his career experiences at Boeing with students

Matt Libby ('14, Society, Ethics & Human Behavior) is the 787 Flightline Operations Chief of Staff at Boeing, a top-level adviser who provides executive support to the Everett Delivery Center Director and Superintendent of the 787 Program & Paint Operations. In this role, Matt manages multiple projects that drive efficiency within the production system and increase customer satisfaction. Prior to Boeing, Matt worked in retail management, general contracting, and cabinet manufacturing.

Matt spent several years in the workforce before earning a BA in Society, Ethics & Human Behavior at UW Bothell. While at UWB, he was inspired by human rights issues, which led him to pursue study aboard in Zambia, the Washington D.C. Human Rights Seminar, and a minor in human rights.
