David Goldstein Shares Knowledge of Teaching and Learning Centers in Japan and Milwaukee
David Goldstein, IAS senior lecturer and Director of the Teaching and Learning Center, served as a Visiting Scholar at Waseda University in Tokyo for the month of July. Along with three colleagues from UW Seattle, he helped launch a Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology that will be jointly run by Waseda and the UW. Back in the U.S., Goldstein led a half-day pre-conference institute, “Strategic Planning for College Learning Centers: Where Are You Going?,” with Erin Hill, Director of the Quantitative Skills Center, and Karen Rosenberg, Strategic Projects Specialist in the TLC, on the invitation of the National College Learning Centers Association conference in Milwaukee.
