This is an opportunity to converse and connect with students to maintain brand presence on campus. The format may include a short student-focused topic presentation and then Q&A. These informal sessions target professional development content, provide an interactive opportunity for students to ask questions and allow them to understand your hiring needs and processes.
You are welcome to schedule a career connections session via Handshake. These could be employer-led workshops, industry treks/company site visits, or “meet the recruiter”/”ask me anything” sessions. If you would like us to promote your session, please send the Handshake link to uwbhire@uw.edu.
Host or co-present on a specific career topic to connect with students interested in a particular industry or job function. Popular topics include technical interviews, career fair preparation, LinkedIn for networking and job search strategies, virtual interviewing, virtual networking, or day in the life of a professional in your field.
Host a company virtual open house or on-site visit to support further student career exploration and refinement, including learning about day-to-day “work life”, workplace culture and what employers’ value in new hires. This is an excellent opportunity for students to learn more about your organization, meet members of your team, and get a sense for what working for your company would be like.
An information table is an easy and casual way to connect with students on campus during the day. Our tabling area is situated in a high-traffic area near the Cold Brew coffee shop, and is in a main thoroughfare to two of our academic buildings. The cost for tabling is $50 For-Profit organizations and $30 Non-Profit organizations. Complete our request form and a member of our Employer Relations Team will be in touch with you. Please allow at least a three-week notice to allow for ample marketing time.
Receive assistance in jumpstarting your internship opportunities. Internships can be posted on Handshake and employers can also host special information sessions ahead of their internship recruitment cycle. Interested in a project-based micro-internship? We are here to help. Resources and assistance can be provided to organizations who are developing a job description or an entire internship experience. These experiential learning opportunities offer a great way to connect with potential future employees while providing students an opportunity to gain professional experience. View resources.
Go the extra mile to increase your brand identity and visibility on campus, gain access to additional resources, and help us extend our programming and services. Your annual membership as a Premier Employer Partner supports career program-building at UW Bothell, helping to provide you with high-quality prospective employees and interns.
Arrange an online meeting with our Employer Relations team to discuss how we can boost your recruiting and brand-building. We’ll discuss strategies to engage with students and continue to maximize your brand.
Career Services can connect employers with student clubs that are academic, identity, and/or interest-based. Gain access to students through presenting at and/or sponsoring a club meeting or event, hosting a virtual site-visit, conducting structured informational interviews with individuals or small groups and/or being part of an industry or topical panel.
