David on mentorship
I was a first-generation and a low-income college student. As the youngest of 6 children, I was the only child to get a university degree. I also worked full-time while attending university full-time. I didn’t have any mentorship growing up and so I fumbled my way forward, mistake after mistake. I know firsthand of how hard it can be to get ahead and want to help others.
