Molly O’Donnell is Director of Business Development; Consumer and Device Sales at Microsoft. Here she helps to identify, operationalize and scale new device categories and teams. Molly is responsible for creating a product GTM and campaign strategies for new device offerings, with the goal of taking them from incubation to mainstream adoption — ultimately providing growth, innovation and new revenue streams for the company.
Prior to her current role she was the Chief of Staff for Microsoft’s Global Consumer Channels Group (CCG). In this Chief of Staff role, Molly served as a key communications manager, business advisor and people counselor for Jude Buckley, Corporate Vice President of the CCG global group. The CCG group consists of more than 1200 people located in 40+ countries who are in charge of marketing and selling our consumer products –Xbox, Surface, Office, Windows and Lumia Phones – to consumers around the world. CCG’s mission is to inspire consumers to choose, buy and love to use Microsoft’s products and services.
Before serving in the Chief of Staff role, Molly directed consumer influencer marketing/PR communications campaigns designed to help excite, recruit and activate fans for Microsoft’s consumer brands, namely Xbox and Windows Phones.
