About Dr. Li
Dr. Wei Li is an Assistant Professor of Accounting. He received his Ph.D. in Accounting from Carnegie Mellon University and undergraduate/master degrees from Tsinghua University. He was previously a faculty member at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research interest is in the role of information in the capital market and within the firm applying analytical (mostly) and empirical research approaches. He has published in top accounting journals, e.g., Contemporary Accounting Research, Review of Accounting studies, Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance, and Journal of Management Accounting Research. He teaches Intermediate Accounting, Advanced Accounting, and Managerial Accounting. He has earned multiple teaching awards, including the School of Business Dean’s Undergraduate Full Time Faculty Teaching Excellence Award.
