VPA Prevention Programs
The VPA offers prevention presentations, workshops, and events for students, staff, and faculty. These sessions are facilitated by professional staff and can be customized to meet each groups needs.
Prevention workshops focus on fostering culture change, preventing harm before it occurs, and transforming our campus into a community free from violence. Response trainings emphasize skill-building to ensure appropriate, compassionate support for those who have experienced sexual or relationship violence. We also partner with student groups to host events focused on topics such as healthy relationships, consent, and awareness months.
Please note: The VPA does not provide Title IX workshops or training. To request a workshop or training on Title IX topics, please email titleix@uw.edu.
