Celinda Smith, M. Ed., Graduate Program Advisor (She/Her)

Celinda Smith

Celinda Smith has worked in higher education since 1999. Her professional background includes teaching English as Second Language and chairing an English Language Program at La Universidad del Valle de Atemajac in Michoacán, Mexico. Upon returning to the states in 2003, Celinda worked at Bellevue College in Student Services as an academic advisor, later transitioning into a leadership role as Director of Academic Advising Services. In 2013, Celinda joined the UW Bothell School of Nursing and Health Studies as an RN-to-BSN advisor. In 2018, Celinda transitioned into the graduate nursing advisor for the Master of Nursing program.

Celinda’s professional passion is working directly with students in an educational setting which is what she most enjoys about her UW Bothell role as the graduate program advisor.
