Luiza Trahan Receives Primary Care Leader of the Year Award
Luiza Trahan, current Masters of Nursing student in our School shared the news about her award and provided a short summary in her own words. Thank you Luiza!
Trahan reported, "I am completely honored and humbled to announce that on February 9th, my organization presented me with the Primary Care Leader of the Year award for 2016. When I heard my name called, during the award presentation, it left me speechless – in fact, I remain speechless. These awards are given to selected individuals who have been voted upon by their peers and for their respected departments. These awards are intended to recognize leaders who rise above and strive every day to be the very best that they can be in their positions. I am grateful to UW Bothell's Master's Program for molding and shaping me into the caring leader that I have become. The Professors and courses both have provided me the necessary tools to be able to lead with passion, knowledge and most importantly strive to be the very best. Thank you for taking the time to read about my accomplishment. I truly do not believe I would have been able to do this without this program and the wonderful professors!"
