Inaugural Swedish MN Cohort Begins Autumn 2016

The University of Washington Bothell School of Nursing and Health Studies faculty will offer its valued Master of Nursing degree via a new hybrid series this fall, sited at Swedish Medical Center. This is an exciting learning model that provides access to an advanced UW graduate degree through online learning but maintains the UW Bothell MN commitment to a strong cohort model. The program emphasizes in-person collaboration for experienced Swedish nurse managers. Electives support a focus on executive leadership and have been developed jointly with the UWB School of Business and the Computing and Software degree faculty. The efficient 7-quarter program will use a one-day-a-week course schedule (on-site 5 times during each 10 week quarter). Additional online assignments and learning will build on the classroom experience.
