June Altaras, MN Alum, Receives Seattle Business Magazine Award

June Altaras, Chief Executive and System Chief Executive for Acute Care at Swedish Seattle, has been named Outstanding Health Care Executive for the Puget Sound Region as part of Seattle Business magazine’s 2016 Leaders in Health Care Awards. Altaras, who has more than 31 years in health care, was quoted as saying, “Transforming health care is like rebuilding the plane while flying it, yet what we are rebuilding isn’t a thing; it’s people’s health and lives.
