Jason Frederick Lambacher join King County Citizen Election Oversight Committee (KCEOC)
Jason Frederick Lambacher was appointed to the King County Citizen Election Oversight Committee (KCEOC) by the King County Council, a 16-member group that meets regularly to advise the Council on voter access, public confidence in election administration, and issues surrounding transparency and discrimination. The committee represents a diverse collection of King County residents, with members representing languages printed on the ballot (Chinese, Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese); civic organizations that evaluate candidates and provide election information (Municipal League, League of Women Voters); representatives from the Republican and Democratic parties; a representative that advances the interests of Black and African Americans (Urban League); and representatives from the Washington Secretary of State office, the Disability community, and academia. Jason is completing his first year on the KCEOC as a member of the academic community with expertise in elections and looks forward to fulfilling the remaining two years of this three-year commitment. He is also pleased to work on the KCEOC with UWB master’s in policy alums Christopher Hays (who represents a disability rights organization) and Tania Santiago Pastrana, who is a Municipal Relations manager for the King County Council.
