Jin-Kyu Jung leads qualitative GIS workshop in Copenhagen

IAS faculty member Jin-Kyu Jung led an one-day workshop on “Qualitative GIS and geo-visualization” for the Ph.D. course, “Developing Your Methodological Toolbox—Qualitative Research Methods across Design, Social Sciences, and the Humanities” at Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management at University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark.

He also gave a public lecture on “Critical GIS and geo-visualization,” which highlighted ongoing critical-creative innovations of qualitative research with digital spatial platforms as new ways of transcending disciplines, methodologies, and practices.
