Wanda Gregory speaks at Abertay University on the Metaverse (the good, the bad, and the ugly)

IAS faculty member Wanda Gregory was asked to speak at Abertay University, considered the birthplace of the UK game industry, on the topic of the Metaverse (the good, the bad, and the ugly).

Her talk on February 16, 2022 was based on her experience working and living in virtual games and social worlds. She offered her thoughts and predictions on current trends including Facebook Meta, VR/AR, NFTs, blockchain, and where the industry is heading and how these technologies might be used for positive change.
