IAS faculty member Dan Berger discussed prison abolition on Rumble with Michael Moore. The Oscar-winning filmmaker interviewed Berger about the problem of prison and whether a “Department of Restorative Justice & Redemption” should replace our existing Prison Industrial Complex. Earlier this month, Berger appeared on the podcast CovidCalls about the pandemic in prison. Together with his coeditor Emily Hobson, Berger has also recently appeared on the podcasts Millennials Are Killing Capitalism and Money on the Left to discuss his most recent book Remaking Radicalism: A Grassroots Documentary Reader of the United States, 1973-2001.
