Denise Vaughan appointed to Board of Directors for the Greater Seattle Debate League

IAS faculty member Denise Vaughan has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Greater Seattle Debate League. The mission of the GDSL is to facilitate opportunities for underserved students to participate in Speech and Debate. Vaughan is a founding board member where she serves as Chronographer. The Greater Seattle Debate League is also working to provide Debate Across the curriculum training to educators and students in the Seattle area to increase critical thinking, strengthen communication skills and increase community engagement.
