Becca Price moderates conversation on inclusive teaching

IAS faculty member Becca Price moderated a conversation about inclusive teaching with Bryan Dewsbury (The University of Rhode Island) and Cynthia Brame (Vanderbilt University). The conversation was part of the Online with LSE webinar series sponsored by CBE-Life Sciences Education.

Dewsbury and Brame prepared a guide for inclusive teaching and wrote an article about it. It is one of the journal’s evidence-based teaching guides, a comprehensive set of recommendations that emerge from research about how to best implement different teaching techniques. During the webinar, Dr. Dewsbury talked about the philosophy of centering humanity, and Dr. Brame talked about building structures of support into courses.
