IAS faculty member Alka Kurian gave an invited talk on “The Golden Age of Social Protest: Rise of Fourth Wave Feminism” as part of the “ishq: issues in society, history, and queerness” series at Ashoka University in Delhi, India. The talk focused on the rise of a new and transgressive form of women’s politics that draws on the language and modalities of a global protest culture and internet technology.
