Katherine Voyles: “Plague Stories Are Cold Comfort: On The Limits Of Fiction”

IAS/FYPP faculty member Katherine Voyles published an article “Plague Stories Are Cold Comfort: On The Limits Of Fiction,” in which she discusses COVID-19 and plague literature by focusing on Lawrence Wright’s new novel The End of October for War on the Rocks. She previously wrote about Wright’s work when she reviewed the Hulu version of his Pulitzer Prize-winning book The Looming Tower: Al-Qaeda and the Road to 9/11.
