Bruce Burgett gives keynote and plenary on “What Do Keywords Do”

IAS dean and faculty member Bruce Burgett gave a keynote and plenary on “What Do Keywords Do” at the “Language and Culture” conference in Koper, Slovenia. Co-delivered with his co-author Glenn Hendler (Fordham University), the talk focused on lessons learned from their co-editing of Keywords for American Cultural Studies, and their co-design of related on-line sites and materials. Burgett’s travel to Slovenia was part of a faculty exchange program with the University of Ljubljana.
