Brittaney Bunjong recognized as “Cook 2 Follow” in AllRecipes Magazine
Congratulations to alum Brittaney Bunjong (’16, Media & Communication Studies), on being featured as a “Cook 2 Follow” in the Summer edition of Allrecipes Magazine! Brittaney says, "It's crazy, when I go to the grocery store I can pick up the Allrecipes Magazine and see MY face sharing what I love. Finding your passion is the root to success. When you do what you love, doors will open. I'm a strong believer in going to your highest potential." Brittaney also appears on Allrecipes website, the world’s largest online food community with up to 55 million cook visits per month.
Brittaney’s successful food blog, Plenty of Pineapples, started as a project in Wanda Gregory’s Introduction to Interactive Media Design course. Since then she’s expanded her horizons, blogging for Girls on Food and launching the podcast, Citrus Room. When not producing media, Brittaney is Community Manager for The Cloud Room, a collaborative workspace and cultural hub located at Chophouse Row on Capitol Hill.
Brittaney has conducted communications internships at Allstate and City of Kenmore, and as a student, took advantage of many opportunities offered at UW Bothell. She will share these experiences and her career navigations with Kristin Gustafson’s students on Wednesday, June 28, from 9:00-10:00 am in UW2-305. The campus community and alumni are invited to join the conversation.
