Shannon Cram presents research on remediation at Washington’s Hanford Nuclear Reservation
IAS faculty member Shannon Cram was invited to the University of Michigan's Science, Technology, and Society Program where she presented her research to the Science and Technology Studies Rackham Interdisciplinary Workshop and gave a guest lecture in Dr. Gabrielle Hecht's "Global Nuclear Proliferation" class. For both events, Cram presented material from her upcoming book, Unmaking the Bomb: Nuclear Cleanup and the Politics of Impossibility, an ethnographic study of remediation at Washington's Hanford Nuclear Reservation.
