Dan Berger Speaks on Black Radicals and the Law and Prison Organizing
Dan Berger participated in a roundtable on “Black Radicals and the Law” at the annual conference of the Organization of American Historians. During the conference, the OAH announced that Berger was appointed to the OAH Distinguished Lectureship Program, a speaker’s bureau of the association’s leading scholars. Also that weekend, Berger delivered a talk at Brown University entitled “Prison Organizing Then and Now.” The lecture included responses from local organizers working with Direct Action for Rights and Equality (DARE), and Black and Pink.
