Kristy Leissle Contracts with Polity Press for volume on the Global Political Economy of Chocolate

IAS faculty member Kristy Leissle has contracted with Polity Press for a new volume in their exciting Resources series. Leissle's book, Cocoa, will address the global political economy of the cocoa and chocolate industries. The volume will join Oil, Diamonds, Fish, Water, and other titles in the series, which collectively shed light on the power structures that underlie industry dynamics for many of our world's most important resources. Leissle's book is slated for publication in 2017. She also presented research related to that book at the recent Fine Chocolate Industry Association conference in San Francisco.
