Yolanda Padilla presents at Casa de las Américas

IAS faculty member Yolanda Padilla presented at a colloquium hosted by Casa de las Américas in Havana, Cuba. Her paper, “Hemispheric Letradas: Gender, the Mexican Revolution, and Transnational Critique on the U.S.-Mexico Border” argues for the importance of using transnational feminist approaches in the study of writings by early 20th-century Mexican American women.
