Jennifer Atkinson’s students host conversation about climate ethics

Students in IAS faculty member Jennifer Atkinson‘s “Ethics and the Environment” (BIS 356) hosted a conversation on climate ethics with Dr. Robert Bindschadler, former Chief Scientist of NASA’s Hydrospheric and Biospheric Sciences Laboratory. The discussion explored changes in the polar ice sheets and the science/policy interface as it relates to climate change debates. Over 100 students and faculty attended the talk, which also served as a launching point for a UWB Climate Club.
