IAS hosts “Mentor Chat” with T. Andrew Wahl
In early March, IAS alumnus T. Andrew Wahl (’96, Comparative U.S. and International Studies) met with undergraduate students to share his career journey and advice as part of IAS’s “Mentor Chat” series. Mentor Chats assist students with career exploration and networking by providing opportunities to dialogue with IAS alums and community partners working across diverse roles and sectors. In a relaxed environment, Wahl discussed his various roles as a communications director, writer, editor, designer and editorial cartoonist. He currently heads Everett Community College’s journalism department and is a member of the 2015-16 Humanities Washington Speakers Bureau, for which he delivers talks about comic books and U.S. history.
