Kristy Leissle, aka Dr. Chocolate, publishes “Labels of Love”

IAS faculty member Kristy Leissle, known in the chocolate industry as Dr. Chocolate, has published "Labels of Love" in the Business & Economy section of The Conversation, an online newspaper. As chocolate comes under its annual scrutiny in the lead up to Valentine's Day, Leissle's piece discusses the differences among various labels and claims on chocolate bars, and what these mean for consumers as they shop for chocolate. In related Valentine's Day work, Kristy appeared on KBCS Morning Blend Wednesday through Friday, discussing political, economic, and cultural aspects of the chocolate industry globally.
