Admitted Autumn Transfer Students

The autumn/summer transfer admit orientation will be begin May 1st.

Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Washington Bothell! We are excited to welcome you as the newest members of the UWB community.

The goals of Advising & Orientation process remain the same. After completing this process, you will hopefully feel connected to the campus, know the resources and opportunities available to you, and also be ready to register for classes.

Autumn quarter transfer orientation process


Step 1:  UWB 101 (online orientation) 

Complete our Online Orientation, called “UWB 101”  

Once you complete UWB 101, you will receive a link to sign up for your Virtual Advising & Orientation within 5 business days. Will be available starting May 1.

Before you can move to Step 2, must also Complete the Husky Prevention & Response Course


Step 2: Virtual Advising & Orientation (A&O)

 After you complete UWB101 and the Husky Prevention and Response Course, you will receive an email with the link to register for your virtual A&O. This can take up to 7 days after you complete your Husky Prevention & response course. The one-day Virtual Advising & Orientation (A&O) session will connect you with campus resources and other new students. You will also meet with your academic advisor in a group advising setting.  


Step 3: Transfer Academic Program Day

 Transfer Academic Program days offer you an opportunity to make connections and learn more about your specific school and major. Each academic department will host a one-day event in September. 


Step 4:  Welcome Week

Welcome Week will take place  during the first week of autumn quarter.  There will be many  programs and activities to help  you enhance your husky experience  and further your connections on campus! 


Technology needs

A personal computer or tablet with internet access to and sound will be ideal to fully participate in the orientation process. Accessing the orientation process on a smartphone device will make it more difficult to participate fully. Please also be prepared to engage in activities actively and take notes.
