Once the Ricoh print driver is installed, follow the steps outlined on this page to add the printer.

Add the desired printer

On a Windows computer

  • Select the Windows icon or search box in the taskbar and type \\printers.uwb.edu\
  • Authenticate with your UW NetID credential and a list of available on-campus printers, including HP, Ricoh, and other brand models, will be displayed.
  • Double-click on the desired Ricoh printer to add it onto the computer.

On a Mac computer

It is required to find out the printer IP address before adding it to the computer. Please contact the UWB IT Help Desk for assistance.

Once you have the printer IP address, proceed to adding the printer using the steps provided:.

  • Open System Settings and select Printers & Scanners from the sidebar.
  • Select the Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax… button.
  • Select the middle IP icon and type in the printer IP in the address field. For example, the IP address for the “LB2-218-RicohC2504” printer is “172.21.200.54”.
  • Please make sure Line Printer Deamon – LPD protocol is selected from the dropdown menu.
  • The system should recognize the printer model and display the model under the Use area automatically. It is also a good practice to enter the name of the printer for future use.
