The Writing & Communication Center (WaCC) supports students of all abilities, at any stage of the reading, writing, or presentation process. Want feedback on your paper, personal statement, or project? We can help. Our goal is to help you become a stronger, effective, more confident writer and communicator.

You can make appointments via EAB Navigate, the Navigate Student app, our “Make a WaCC Appointment survey, or just drop-in our Zoom room any time we’re open. Our resources page can help answer specific questions or guide you through learning a whole new thing!

We have moved into Commons Hall room UW2-030 and now share a space with Academic Success Coaching and the Quantitative Skills Center.
Fall Quarter Hours
The WaCC is open and fully staffed for scheduled, drop-in (based on tutor availability), and email conferences during the hours listed below until Friday, Dec. 13, 2024. View the UW Bothell Academic Calendar for all closures. We are closed for scheduled appointments on the following days:
- Monday, November 11, 2024, Veterans Day
- Thursday, November 28, 2024, Thanksgiving
- Friday, November 29, 2024, Native American Heritage Day

The Writing and Communication Center supports UW Bothell students, applicants, and alumni. UWB Students and alumni can make appointments through EAB Navigate. Folks applying to UW Bothell don’t have access to Navigate but can request an appointment by filling out this short form. Unfortunately, we cannot support non-Bothell students including other UW campuses.
