Frequently Asked Questions:
What is a Meal Plan?
A Meal Plan unlocks delicious meals, coffee, snacks, and more at the Bothell Dining
locations on campus. They are broken down into Meal Swipes, Dining Bucks, Meal
Exchanges, and Guest Meals.
Meal Swipes
Meal Swipes may be used for entry into the all-you-care-to-eat dining options from
Market Bar and for-here fare from Urban Kitchen on the upper level of the Terrace
Dining Pavillion. For the weekly plans, meals reset at the end of every week (Saturday
at 11:59 PM).
Dining Bucks
Dining Bucks are included in many of the Meal Plans available on campus. Dining
Bucks can be utilized in a declining balance format (dollar for dollar) at any Bothell
Dining location on campus. Visit our Locations and Menus page
(Bothelldining.campusdish.com/LocationsAndMenus) for location information, hours
of operation, and menus.
Meal Exchanges
Meal Exchanges are included in the Unlimited (20 per quarter), Weekly 14 (15 per
quarter), Weekly 10 (10 per quarter), and Gold Premier 50 (5 per quarter) meal
plans. Each plan has a limited number of Meal Exchanges that can be utilized
throughout the quarter and can be used for a meal from a pre-determined menu at
Clean Plate, Food Lab, The Drop, or for To-Go ordering from Urban Kitchen. The
maximum number of Meal Exchanges that can be used per week is limited to the
total number of Meal Swipes your plan offers per week until you reach your allotted
quarter total. Example: If I have the Weekly 14 Meal Plan, I can exchange up to 14 Meal
Swipes per week for Meal Exchanges until I reach my maximum of 15 per quarter.
Guest Meals
Guest Meals are included in the Unlimited (5 per quarter), Weekly 14 (3 per
quarter), and Weekly 10 (2 per quarter) meal plans and are only valid for entry into
the all-you-care-to-eat dining options from Market Bar and for-here fare from Urban
Kitchen on the upper level of the Terrace Dining Pavilion.
Do I need a meal plan to eat at the Terrace Dining Pavilion?
All locations in the Terrace Dining Pavilion accept credit/debit cards.
Anyone can order through the Grubhub app, at our kiosks, or buy an entry
ticket to the all-you-care-to-eat area!
How do I use my guest passes?
To use your guest passes, you must go to the Urban Kitchen Kiosk Meal
Exchange Menu and select “Guest entry.” Once you “Pay” using your Husky
Card or Meal Card, your guest will go to the Urban Kitchen To-Go Counter and
receive a single-use swipe-in card.
Why doesn’t my husky card work?
Your Husky Card will not work unless you have purchased a meal plan or
added dining bucks to your account. Balance from other campuses will not
work at Bothell Dining locations.
Can anyone enter the all-you-care-to-eat area? How?
The all-you-care-to-eat Market Bar & Urban kitchen is open to everyone! If you
have a meal plan, you can simply swipe in at the turnstiles. If you do not have
a meal plan you can purchase an entry at the Urban Kitchen Kiosks.
