Student capstones center real-world applications
Various STEM students showcased their projects on biological and physical sciences, engineering, mathematics, and computing and software systems in the winter 2024 Undergraduate Capstone & Symposium presentations. From a mental health chatbot to designing an organic molecule for cancer treatment, undergraduates were able to apply their in-class knowledge to help solve real-world problems.
The STEM Undergraduate Capstone & Symposium Event created a stage for STEM students to unveil their findings and exchange their opinions with scholars across fields. It’s a quarterly event for undergraduates to present their projects through oral presentations, poster sessions, and project demonstrations.
