Faculty FAQ
UW Bothell faculty members are invited to participate in Commencement and the Graduate Hooding Ceremony. Your participation as faculty is key to the success of the ceremony and you are strongly encouraged to attend!
Commencement
I’m a faculty member at UW Bothell and would like to participate in Commencement. How do I sign up?
An email survey will be sent to all faculty in early March to sign up for the ceremony. All faculty will also have the option to rent regalia via survey.

When do I arrive?
Please arrive by 11:00 a.m. Be sure to allow plenty of time for travel, finding a parking spot, and walking to T-Mobile Park. Your timeliness is essential to the success of the day.
Where should I park?
Parking is available in the Mariner Garage.
Where do I go on Commencement Day?
When you arrive at T-Mobile Park, you are asked to enter through the Media Entry. Go past the elevators and through the door to the Service Tunnel and turn left. Check-in, gather your credential and follow the signs to the Faculty Room.
Is food provided?
Yes, food is provided.
How long is each ceremony?
The ceremony is expected to be 2.5 hours long.
What do I wear?
You represent UW Bothell, so please dress appropriately. Business casual attire is preferred. If you are participating in the ceremonies, you must wear regalia.
Graduate Hooding Ceremony
I’m a faculty member at UW Bothell and would like to participate in the Hooding Ceremony. How do I sign up?
An email survey will be sent to all faculty in early April to sign up for the Hooding Ceremony. All faculty will also have the option to rent regalia via the survey.
When do I arrive?
Faculty should arrive by 10:00 a.m. at the North Creek Events Center for robing and line up.
Processional begins at 11:00 a.m. and the ceremony should conclude approximately 12:15 p.m.
