Community Engagement
As part of the tri-campus capacity-building effort launched in 2022, faculty and staff community engagement leads at each of the Bothell, Seattle and Tacoma campuses began work in January 2024 in support of a University-wide effort to assess, evaluate and build community engagement supports for faculty, staff, students and community partners. UW Bothell was awarded the elective Carnegie Classification for Community Engagement in 2020 and is currently working on its application to retain its classification, due in April 2025. On the Bothell campus, this community engagement work is housed in the Office of the Chancellor. Read more about Community Engagement.
