- Faculty Honor Cord for Commencement
Faculty honor is awarded to undergraduates earning their first bachelor’s degree and ranking in the top 10% of their program. Students must earn a minimum of 70 graded credits at UW Bothell (except BSN students, who need 43 graded credits) to qualify. Those eligible for baccalaureate honors cannot receive faculty honors.

Faculty Honor Cord for Commencement
For spring/summer graduates:
To be eligible to wear a Faculty Honor Cord during the commencement ceremony, an undergraduate student must:
- Complete 70 numerically graded credits by the end of winter quarter (24 graded credits for Bachelor of Science in Nursing students)
- Meet the cumulative GPA requirement by the end of winter quarter (see chart above)
